Reunion Auction

 We need every family who will be attending to bring at least 2 items to auction off. We'll hold the auction on Saturday afternoon. All funds will go towards the next reunion and any left over funds will be put towards reunions to come.

Ideas for Auction:

Homemade crafts
Quilts/blankets
Baked Goods or desserts
Surprise bags
Store bought items

Have fun and be creative and try to think of things you would like to bid on to keep. Some items can be cheap for your little ones to bid on so they can join in the fun. Please don't forget your money or checkbooks!! :) Also, if you have any other ideas on how to raise money for future reunions, please feel free to share.

Reunion 2010

HELLO EVERYONE,

Hey the Reunion is almost upon us and we still haven't gotten very many RSVPs. It would really help us out to know how many of you will be there this year so we can shop and plan accordingly. Rough Schedule

Friday, 23rd - People Arrive and Set Up Camp


Saturday, 24th -

8am Breakfast (Provided)
-followed by Welcome and Get to Know You (yes I know we are all family but this is to get us all reacquainted)

Lunch is fend for yourselves =)

1pm Pictures - We would love to get group pictures and family pictures of everyone who comes this year.

3pm Family Auction - We ask that every family bring at least TWO items to auction off (more is always appreciated)

6:30pm Dinner - We will provide the meat and Dutch oven potatoes we are assigning each family a salad, side or dessert to accompany the meal. (Find that below)


Sunday, 25th- We are thinking of having some games and crafts. We realize a lot of people will probably go home on Sunday as well. =)

Reunion Site Directions

We will be having the reunion in the same place we had it in 2008, The Johnson Family Reunion Site. Below are the directions. Can't wait to see you all.

Latitude 37 deg 33' 15.17" N
Longitude 112 deg 29' 43.38" W


From the South:

4.5 miles north of Long Valley Junction (Todd's or US14 x US89)
First left after crossing the Garfield County Line.
It's a well maintained dirt and gravel forest service road. Turn left at a small white well-house on the southwest corner where you turn west (left).
When the fence on your right ends, you will see a wooden sign. Turn right on this first road & go straight north.
Follow this road to the end of the fenced land on the right side of the road.
Turn right (the dirt road Sheldon graveled). It follows the fence line north to a heavy metal gate into the reunion site.
As you come into the reunion site you will see a pump house and a metal roofed open shed on your right.
Camping sites are up the hill to the left.


From the North:

Approx. 8 miles south of Hatch
After passing Asay Creek there is a subdivision of homes on the right called "Hacienda Hills". Look for the next right turn (approx 1/2 mile).
If you enter Kane County, you have gone to far!!!

Coming from Cedar City:
The map below shows Highway 14 coming from Cedar City over Cedar Mountain to Highway 89 going north and south.
When you come over Cedar Mountain turn left at highway 89 at Todd's Service Station and go north for 4.5 miles, and turn left, following directions above..

The 2010 Lee Laub Reunion will be held on July 23rd - 25th. So mark your calenders!

Hello?

NOt sure if family still checks this or not. But Kerri and I would really like some input from everyone about the family reunions. Would everyone like to continue having them at Sheldon and LaVerna's property. It wasn't that bad of a spot and it might be easiest. Also, dates? Someone had mentioned that Labor Day was too hard because school had started for most kids and teachers. So would Memorial Weekend work or not? Or should we just pick a time during the summer and create our own 3 day weekend? Any thoughts would be helpful. We love you all! Keep in touch please. Oh, and what would you like to see happen at the reunions? Races, games, raffles, auctions, etc? Let's make this fun for everyone. Love ya!
